In 2023 our call for student grants - for training in 2024 - runs from 2nd October until 31st December.  If you are considering an application please ensure you use the new form attached to this page, and consult our updated guidance.
If you are a graduate-level student in a lower income country, working on a subject related to sustainable land use and poverty alleviation, and you need extra training, then our grant scheme may be of interest to you.  Towards the end of every year we open to applications for training to be carried out later in the following year. Historically we have provided funding to enable students to access training in other countries. However, due to the evolving global impact and responses to COVID-19, as well as considering the carbon footprint of travel, this year we are inviting applications for either grants for online training, or for grants for international travel for in-person training.
